The Barry Horwitz/Blueberry Pancakes Fund was created by Marc Horwitz to honor the memory of his father, Barry Horwitz, and his legacy of generosity.

Quote from Marc: "Dad was legendary at Alexandria House for his blueberry pancakes and his sweet, "Papa Bar" neshama (spirit). Along with my mom Marlene and cohorts from IKAR (synagogue), he would take over the kitchen every Xmas morning to whip up his secret recipe for all the residents and staff. This year my brother Michael and I carried on the tradition, though somebody (I'm not saying who) forgot the blueberries!"
