Alexandria House's La Tiendita

La Tiendita is an on-site thrift store that offers a variety of gently-used items to our residents, past residents and neighbors in need. On a monthly basis, our current residents, past residents, and neighborhood program families shop for free, and members of the community shop at a low cost. The funds raised from the store go to support our neighborhood After School Program.

La Tiendita accepts clothing of all sizes, linens, cooking items (pots and pans, dishes, etc.), small working appliances, toys, pet items, baby items, bikes, and more! La Tiendita is unable to accept gently-used undergarments due to sanitary reasons, and large furniture or appliances due to limited storage space. 

If you wish to donate, please donate clothing and items that are clean and without stains, tears or other issues. The families that shop at Alexandria House's La Tiendita deserve the best quality of items.

Drop-off Hours:

Tuesdays, 12pm-5pm

Last Saturday of the month, 10am-5pm

Donations can be dropped off behind the house at 426 S. Alexandria Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90020.

Tax receipts are available in the office in the yellow house next door.
