The phrase ‘Home for the holidays’ means different things to each of us. For some, it evokes family,  love, comfort, decorations, and joy. For the families we serve, this might be the first season away from  abuse, abandonment, extreme poverty, and loneliness.

For over 26 years Alexandria House has been  the Home between Homes for over 250 families who have gone through the transitional housing  program. In addition, more than 1,000 community members receive supportive services, including:  food, clothing, hygiene items, diapers, baby supplies, household goods, and more!
