This year's back-to-school shopping list looks a bit different. In addition to notebooks and pens, students now need access to computers and internet also. In this digital age, we take things like computers and internet access for granted, we assume they are necessities when in fact, they remain a luxury for many in our community. If you're helping a student with e-learning, you're well aware of the difficulties. Now imagine on top of all that, not having the supplies for your child to learn in the first place.

You can help by donating some of these top requested items. (Every item is linked to an online store where you can purchase and have it shipped directly to us.)

• A laptop for e-learning 
• Grocery store gift card for students who previously relied on reduced/free school lunch 
• Staples gift card for a printer or printing school work 
• General school supplies such as notebooks, binders, pens, calculators, etc. 
• $10-$100 to help pay internet bill

Donations can be mailed/delivered to 436 S. Alexandria Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90020. (In-person drop-offs need to be scheduled ahead of time by calling our office at 213-381-2649.) E-gift cards can be sent to [email protected]. You can also contact Michele for additional information.
